Job Summary
The Title Business Development Representative is a revenue-driving, relationship-focused sales professional responsible for originating new title business, growing an existing book of business, and expanding market presence across an assigned territory. This role is field-facing and relationship-based, requiring consistent in-person engagement with referral partners and close collaboration with internal operations teams. The ideal candidate brings an active book of business, a title producer’s license, and a proven ability to generate sustainable revenue through trust-based partnerships rather than transactional volume.

WHAT WE OFFER
Flexible Base + Commission Compensation Structure – The compensation tiers below are provided as a guide and can be customized based on experience, existing book of business, and income preferences, allowing you to balance base salary with commission upside.
$80,000 base salary with 25% commission
$60,000 base salary with 35% commission
$40,000 base salary with 45% commission
(Higher commission percentages are available at lower base levels)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Originate new title insurance business and drive consistent revenue growth
Maintain, expand, and deepen an existing book of business
Build and manage referral relationships with real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, investors, and developers
Conduct regular in-person client meetings, office visits, and relationship check-ins
Promote the full suite of services, including title, appraisal, and 1031 exchange solutions
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts
Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
Collaborate with internal title, escrow, appraisal, and exchange teams to ensure smooth, timely closings
Track pipeline activity, referrals, and revenue performance
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Active NJ and/or PA Title Producer’s License
Established book of business in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania
Proven success generating new title insurance business through relationship-based sales
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Professional, confident, and client-facing demeanor
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
Detail-oriented with consistent follow-through
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
