Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Bookkeeper to join the team. This position is responsible for managing the full spectrum of bookkeeping functions to support the daily operations of the firm. The role includes handling accounts payable, tracking and categorizing expenses, issuing and processing invoices, cutting checks for approval and signature, and preparing regular reconciliation reports to ensure accurate financial records. The bookkeeper will also manage payroll processing and assist with maintaining financial compliance and organization. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential, along with strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a business environment. Real Estate experience is a huge plus!

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business or construction/design-related environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including invoicing, reporting, and bank reconciliations
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management
- Experience with payroll processing, including timesheet tracking and tax compliance
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, small team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry, expense tracking, and account categorization
- Create and send accurate invoices to clients and monitor accounts receivable
- Process and track accounts payable; ensure timely payment of vendor bills
- Prepare and cut checks for review, approval, and signature
- Handle bi-weekly or monthly payroll processing, including employee onboarding and deductions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure documentation is complete and compliant
- Generate regular financial reports for internal use and management review
- Support annual budgeting, tax filings, and interaction with external accountants as needed
